Drawers are a critical component in kitchen design. In fact, many contemporary kitchens are being designed with banks of large drawers to provide easy access to bulky cookware, dinnerware, and food stuffs, in addition to the normal cutlery and utensils.

With that in mind, Plato’s drawers are constructed with 5/8" thick hardwood drawer sides with furniture dovetail corners. The plywood drawer bottom is dadoed into all four sides of the drawer for maximum support. This drawer box assembly glides effortlessly on the finest drawer slide system available today. Not only are the undermount slides virtually invisible, they close the drawers with an uncanny silence that must be experienced to be believed. When open, the full extension slides allow full and complete access to the drawers.

And now Plato Woodwork offers these same full-extension, soft-close drawer slides on their optional roll out shelves. Constructed like the drawers and available in three different depths, Plato’s roll out shelves are height adjustable and are now mounted on Plato’s exclusive billet aluminum pilasters. This mounting system is not only incredibly strong, but it allows Plato to maximize the width of the roll out shelves.
